Your weekly Tips from #SeniSal

Instagram

On Instagram, you can use up to 30 hashtags per post and they are not just for fun. Hashtags play a crucial role in your content being found by the right people and you gaining the followers and ultimately the leads and sales you deserve!

You may think that I am going bonkers as 30 hashtags per post, will take forever to create!!

Nope, it should take about an hour to create 3-5 blocks with 10 hashtags each, but you need to think about it from your ideal client’s point of view! What are they looking for, and not your own view?

So, now which hashtags will they be searching for?

Create a block of 10 for each of your content themes, so if you have 5 different themes, you will end up with 50 #s, and keep them where you can copy and paste them to reuse as needed. That will make it so much easier to simply copy & paste the most relevant ones (up to 30) every time you post on IG

Passwords

Cyber-crime is real! Don’t be a victim. It’s recommend that you update passwords at least every 6 months. Do you do that? How often do you update and change ALL your passwords?

You may wish to look at the following to start with:

  • Website Logins
  • Email Logins
  • Hosting Account Logins
  • Email Newsletter Software Logins
  • Social Media Logins

Passwords should be strong, containing letters, numbers and special characters.

I had a free LastPass contract for approximately two years. As of March 16, 2021, LastPass Free only applies to one type of device: either a computer (including all desktops and laptops) or mobile devices (including all mobile phones, smart watches, and tablets).

To continue using LastPass across all device types as I do, I upgraded to Premium to cover all three of my devices: Desktop, iPad, and iPhone and now pay $38 /year + tax (special rate offered with the transition).

LastPass will remain Free, as long as you’re fine accessing LastPass on devices within one type (either computers or mobile devices, but not both).

For more information visit LastPass for Pricing. I am not an affiliate for them, this is just a regular link.

  1. I think the reason the number of posts keeps dropping is because it’s so hard to find WHERE to post! I’ve scrolled up & down 3x already this week, and can’t find the current links ~ and it seems to happen each week. …

    • Hi Cindy. The very last line on the post – the big blue button will take you to the linkup – If you think it will help, I can for sure add it to the top as well, but the reason why I have it at the very bottom would be that hopefully, you will read the entire post.
The second last line entry reads: You are invited to the InLinkz link party! and then directly below that, you will find the blue button: “Add your post link/s” Please let me know if this is not clear enough then I will have to try and come up with a better solution.

      • one link said it wasn’t found…… and then I kept ending up at last week’s linky party which, obviously, was closed. I just think it’s too much stuff for a lot of people to scroll down through (especially on a Monday morning ~ haha)

        • Cindy Sorry I had a blond senior moment and inadvertently had the wrong date.
I take note of your comment about too much stuff. I will see how I can make it better. Would you rather prefer it to be ONLY the linkup and the rest on a different post?

    • Crystal – Please confirm that you managed to get your download. You can either click on the link or the black download button and both does work, I just checked them again.
