We enjoyed a good start for the first #Senisal of last week and received 36 entries, but unfortunately not a lot of interaction between members by means of reading, clicking through, and sharing other posts. Please may we respectfully ask that when you leave your link/s that you do the honorable and read, comment, and share that of others = or if you wish you can call it The Law of Reciprocity.

Zig Ziglar, the late and great motivational speaker summed it up well when he said, “You will get all you want in life if you help other people get what they want.”

Come and join us here at Exciting #145 Senior Salon and share, read, comment, and interact.   There is another old saying: The more you give, the more you get.

Please may we respectfully ask from each and every participant that you keep sharing, and promoting Senior Salon on your own blog?  We do require and need your help to keep #SeniSal growing and the only way we can grow, would be for you to share your links, but also to tell your own followers to come and participate.

Thanks, that we can count on your support

The conclusion to this Exciting #145 Senior Salon:

OK, what do I mean by Exciting #145 Senior Salon:

  1. I am so happy that we can get this new year started and kick-off and embark on another adventurous year at SeniorSalon.
  2. I am also happy to let you all know that I have taken the plunge and opened up another Facebook Group for South African people and Ex-pats.  I know it’s a restrictive and selected group but as we already have another group for anyone to join: The Recipe Hunter: Tried and Tested Recipes From Home Chefs, I thought to start this and it’s going pretty well so far.   Should you know of any South African and Ex-pats that would be interested, I will highly appreciate your help to promote this new group and if you fit the group to also come and join us.   As per the “About” of the page: The main purpose behind this group is to create a catchment area (potjie) of authentic and classic South African cooking and baking recipes and to learn how you made it your own and enjoy true South African spirit.

  1. How great that my New Year´s post was the most read last week! We all made it through that first week and now we can happily deal with the rest of the year!!

    1. Thank you Cathy. One week in and the number of members are still growing but now just to get them to not be shy and start posting in the group, but I am sure that will come. Usually once one or two post then the rest will follow by example especially in a new group.

  2. We had a pretty quiet first week of the year. But that was much needed after the busyness of the holidays, the chaos going on in our country, and helping our son and d-i-l move. Thank you for hosting and helping bloggers.

    1. Barbara Trust all going well and that your son and DIL settled in well. Awesome of you to help them. take it easy and thanks for being here.
