Ingredients
- 1 stick butter, (1/2 cup)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar

- Place butter in the skillet and put in the preheating oven.
- After the butter has melted remove it from the oven and mix in brown sugar.
- Place one pie crust on top of the butter brown sugar mixture and allow the crust to go up the sides of the skillet.
- Place peeled and sliced apples, about half an inch thick, in a bowl with a cup of white sugar and cinnamon and mix.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon together before mixing with apples.
- Place the second crust on top of the apples and push the crust down the sides to meet with the bottom crust.
- Make slits in the top crust.

- Sometimes I leave an extra five minutes to brown it.
- We serve hot with vanilla ice cream.
